Magic Touch Software releases version 8 of DLCPM™

Product Tasks: When adding Task to a given product, the task Pay Rate is now inherited from the one defined in the Production Tasks. In previous versions, technician pay rates were always read from the Production Tasks but this option will now allow users to set a different pay rate for a given task by product.

Lab Settings: A new Invoice form has been added which prints the materials used under each product on Invoices.

DLCPM™ Version 7.5

Magic Touch Software releases version 7.5 of DLCPM™

  • Medical Device Excise Tax: (To learn more about this new Federal tax, please refer to IRS publications)
  • The Medical Device Excise Tax (MDET) will go into effect on Jan 1, 2013 and DLCPM™ has been modified to support this tax. For more details, please refer to this topic in the help index.
  • Integration with Henry Schein DDX: For complete instructions, refer to DDX Setup in the help file.
  • UDX Import & Export Cases
  • Products: Two new fields for Allow Remake Discount and Apply Remake Discount Ratio have been added.
  • Customers: On the main page of the customer record, the DDX Status will show if the customer is registered with DDX Portal.

Magic Touch Software announces integration with DDX®

Magic Touch Software teams up with Henry Schein:

Magic Touch Software (MTS) announces integration with Henry Schein DDX® Digital Dental Exchange to incorporate a faster and more efficient method for case management. Dental Laboratories may now use DDX exchange to receive their cases and other notifications directly in MTS’ Dental Lab Customer and Production Management, (DLCPM™) applications.

DLCPM™ Version 7.2

Magic Touch Software releases version 7.1.21 of DLCPM™ which includes the following features:

  • During Case Entry, as well as when adding multiple products: This option requires loading time to display the products by type, group and department and it has been enhanced to load the settings instantly after the first access. If any of the settings are changed by someone else, the list will be reset.
  • In the Customer Settings, and in the Special Prices section: When adding a product, a new form has been added for easier selection and the ability to search the product list.
  • The Work order description is now displayed at the bottom of the page above the notes area.
  • When a task is rejected in DLCPM™ instead of the Technician Manager, users are now prompted with a new form to confirm the rejected pay method.
